There are no fees with StandardPioneer bootcamp. You will incur direct costs, though.
TL;DR
We are developers. Our benefit to each other in the bootcamp setting is mutual. No bootcamp fees are charged.
You will, however run up some bills with Cloudflare, and probably one of the frontier AI models.
Cloudflare Costs Excluding AI
Cloudflare OS is free and openly published on github.
The code that it uses is free as well, so you won't incur any costs there.
But you probably will need to demonstrate that you can operate within Cloudflare's commercial hosting and services systems. This has a generous free tier, but there will be some minimal charges. We haven't proved this out - but we're guessing a $100 might get you through this portion, maybe less?
In situations of extreme hardship - there are ways around cloudflare services entirely. But these might make your demos less attractive to others who would hire you - so keep that in mind.
AI costs through Cloudflare
Yay! Cloudflare OS with it's AI Gateway will give you access to dozens of LLM models, many are dramatically cheaper than frontier models such as Anthropic or OpenAI. This is what you may run your agent demos on.
For these AI fees that your agents run up - this could be less than $100, or if you want to go with great gusto - the sky is the limit.
Alternatively you could use the same AI models through OpenRouter or another alternative to Cloudflare AI Gateway. Prices are usually similar, though.
Supplemental (Optional) Claude Code or Codex Pro Plans
Some of us would find it challenging to get through this bootcamp without Claude Code or Codex on the $20 or so monthly plan. Even in addition to AI fees on the Cloudflare agent side.
Obviously if you have an infinite amount of time to read through thousands of lines of code and documentation when you get stuck - this would not be necessary. But you will not find many people succeeding quickly, in this manner.
Conclusion - Spend some money, make some money
This bootcamp is primarily designed for and by professional developers who wish to extend their careers into what seems to be a likely good bet.
So you might drop a low few hundred before it's all over. We can't promise results, we can only hint that you might not get good results without that.
